All-TriCarol Winkelmann, Chairman Emeritus of the DWS, has done just about everything possible to help the Wind Symphony. But, as Carol always does, she's found a new way to help a cause near to her heart. And, in so doing, she's helped her heart too!

Recently, Carol participated in a triathlon training program coordinated by a new organization called All-Tri. The good folks at All-Tri train their participants for an upcoming triathlon (or marathon) -- in Carol's case, a triathlon in Austin. They prepare the training regimen, All-Tri raises money for DWSorganize the workouts, help with nutritional education, provide encouragement, organize the event registration, etc. In other words, they handle everything. All you have to do is commit to the training, participate in the event and -- as many other non-profits have done -- encourage your friends to financially help you in your efforts by supporting your charity of choice. And, that's the difference with All-Tri. Instead of signing up for training with one specific charity -- All-Tri allows you to designate your charity of choice.

As a result of Carol's hard work, the passionate support of her trainers, and the generosity of Carol's friends and family, we're pleased to report she easily completed her triathlon -- and raised nearly $2,000 for the Wind Symphony. Way to Go Carol -- Congratulations and Thank You!

All-Tri's second training effort will be getting under way shortly - this time a program designed to prepare folks to run a marathon (or half-marathon if that suits you better). If you're interested in learning more please visit www.alltri.org. Should you choose to do this, to do some good for you or even honor a friend, we would sure be grateful if you keep the DWS in mind. Perhaps next season, we'll put *you* on our website!
