The Dallas Wind Symphony's ability to bring you wonderful music is directly affected by the size and quality of its Music Library.  Since 1985 the DWS has built a Music Library containing approximately 1,000 titles.  Compare this to the Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra's library of 6,000 selections, or the United States Marine Band's 50,000+ pieces.

A Great American Band Deserves A Great Music Library

Through its live concerts, radio broadcasts, recordings and internet-streamed media, the Dallas Wind Symphony has become the benchmark for bands and wind ensembles around the world.  To continue this leadership and ensure artistic excellence, we must increase the holdings of the DWS Music Library.

You can Name That Tune!  Your gift will allow the DWS to purchase new music to build its Music Library.  In turn, your gift ensures artistic excellence and helps bring wonderful music to every listener touched by the Dallas Wind Symphony.  You can honor or memorialize a loved one or commemorate a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or holiday with the greatest of all gifts... music.

Browse through the list of your favorite music.  You can:

• Name a march or great band classic
• Commission a new work or pops arrangement
• Let Artistic Director Jerry Junkin or Associate Conductor David Kehler decide which music to purchase by designating your gift to "Jerry's Gems" or "David's Diamonds."
