DISD students get chance to make beautiful music

(from WFAA-TV) A new collaborative program between the Dallas Wind Symphony, Dallas Independent School District and Mountain View College is giving middle school music students the chance to enhance their skills. The $25 camp cost included lunch, transportation, instruction and a t-shirt. The Dallas Wind Symphony's Summer Music Institute is the first time an opportunity like this has been available to DISD students.
