75 years after death here, Sousa sells out in Reading

On March 6, 1932, Harry B. Fehl leaned down to his 6-year-old daughter, Helen, and told her, "This is a very important, historical moment in your life." For on that day, famed composer and conductor John Philip Sousa died of a heart attack in his room on the 14th floor of what is now The Abraham Lincoln hotel, Fifth and Washington streets.
