Q: Isn't there a Hollywood musical movie about Sousa?

A: Yes. The movie, known alternately as "Stars and Stripes Forever" and "Marching Along" was made in 1952. It starred Clifton Webb as Sousa and also a young Robert Wagner as his favorite Sousaphone player. Unfortunately, while it is an entertaining film, it is chock-full of inaccurate information.
