TSQ Alumni

  • Tom Beers (baritone, 1983-1988) Tom currently lives in London, England. His wife performs with the BBC Radio Orchestra.
  • Bill Marr (tenor, 1983-1987) Bill lives in Fairfax, VA and performs with the U. S. Air Force Band in Washington, D. C. His wife Cynthia plays baritone sax with the U. S. Navy Band, also in Washington.
  • Debra Richtmeyer (bari, alto, 1988-1990) Debra is currently professor of saxophone at the University of Illinois (Urbana/Champaign). She was previously professor of saxophone at the University of North Texas.
  • Scott Plugge (tenor, 1987-1992) Scott received his doctorate from Northwestern University and is currently Associate Chair of the School of Music at Sam Houston State University.
  • Robert Stanton (tenor, 1992) has been an active performer, teacher and recording artist for over 30 years. He has taught saxophone, oboe and other woodwinds at the University of Kansas, the University of Nevada at Las Vegas and the University of Portland. Mr. Stanton has played numerous shows in Las Vegas and as a member of several symphony and pops orchestras.
  • Charles Coltman (baritone, 1990-1993), received bachelor's and master's degrees from North Texas State University, in addition to studying at the New England Conservatory of Music.
